Steve Niles returns with his third instalment of his new vampire led 30DoN. We are introduced to new characters, while also understanding more about Jill's past.

Plot Overview (Spoilers)

The comic starts in Alaska and we are introduced to Stella who has just had a delivery of blood. Kenneth (her delivery boy) informs her of the vampire killings in LA and an update on Alice.

We are the re-introduced to Jill & the 'Father'. We discover that it was he who turned her into a vampire in '69. Initially he solely planned to feast on her, however he saw something more in her and instead gave her eternal life.

The reader then returns to Alaska where Stella is talking to a desolate vampire called Eben. He is suffering his own torment of his 'disease' and knowing they can't be accepted by humans, and do not want to act on their hunger. The comic concludes with Stella leaving to find and help Alice.

This is a short review I appreciate, however there wasn't much content to comment on.

Editor review

Art 2.5/5 - Similar to my previous review, my issue is with the consistency of the work. I still have the same issues with #3

Cover 3.5/5 - Vampires, blood and a victim. Although slightly misleading due to the lack of actual vampire actions, a strong cover to gain interest.

Story 3/5- After a positive start, I am starting to feel disappointed with this title. The story seems to have really slowed down with little happening over the last two releases. This is one that will sadly be removed from my pull list.
